About Dr. Srimukhi Anumolu

Dr. Srimukhi Anumolu is a passionate and dynamic pediatrician with nearly a decade of clinical experience. She has extensive expertise in managing a wide range of pediatric cases, driven by a strong commitment to staying updated with the latest developments in medical research.

Dr. Srimukhi graduated with an MBBS degree from Rangaraya Medical College, Kakinada, in 2009. She further pursued her MD in Pediatrics from PSG Medical College, Coimbatore, in 2014. To deepen her expertise, she completed a Fellowship in Neonatology from the Indian Academy of Pediatrics in 2017. Additionally, she earned a Diploma in Allergy & Asthma from CMC Vellore in 2018, reflecting her commitment to continuous learning and specialization in pediatric care.

She is skilled at creating detailed case study presentations by analyzing both current and past cases. She is also good at managing team workflows and resources efficiently. Her commitment to pediatric care is highlighted by her certification in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) in 2012.

Dr. Srimukhi has a strong background in pediatric care, having worked extensively in various specialized units. She spent 4 months in the Special Newborn Care Unit (SNCU) as part of the National Rural Health Mission (NRHM) initiative to reduce neonatal mortality rates. Additionally, she has experience in Pediatric ICU, Pediatric Ward, Nutritional Rehabilitation Centre, and Out-patient Departments. For 6 months, she provided advanced monitoring and evaluation for critically ill children in a state-of-the-art Pediatric ICU with 10 beds. Moreover, she worked for 9 months at a Level III Newborn I.C.U, well-equipped with Bearcub & SLE 5000, high-frequency oscillators, warmers, phototherapy units, and incubators, under the guidance of Dr. Ramesh, DM Neonatology. She also worked under the renowned Pediatric Gastroenterologist Dr. John Matthai, known for his expertise in video endoscopy-aided diagnostic and therapeutic upper and lower GI endoscopy, in a unit that serves as a referral center for liver diseases in children across South India.

In addition to her clinical work, she has collaborated closely with obstetricians, offering antenatal and bereavement counseling to families. She is also experienced in providing genetic counseling to families of children with special needs.
