About Dr. R.L.N. Renuka
Dr. RLN. Renuka, a senior fertility consultant is well known for her clinical expertise and her vast knowledge of infertility problems and their latest treatments.
She did her MBBS from Rangaraya medical college . Later she did her post-graduation in Obstetrics & Gynaecology at the prestigious Andhra medical college ,Visakhapatnam . She is rendering her services in the field of Obstetrics and Infertility from more than 15 years. She was a reputed obstetrician working at various hospitals in Hyderabad like Rainbow and Apollo hospitals.
Inspite of having a busy practice in obstetrics & gynaecology , with keen interest in Infertility , she did fellowship in Infertility at the prestigious “ Women centre” hospital , Coimbatore under Dr. Mirudhubhashini Govindarajan. She later came back to Hyderabad and started her practice as an exclusive fertility specialist .
She also did her post doctoral diploma in ART and reproductive medicine from The University of Schleswig Holstein-Kiel Germany and Fellowship in minimal access endoscopic surgeries(FMAS).
She was well trained in infertility &IVF treatments. Her areas of special interest PCOD , Endometriosis , recurrent miscarriages , Poor ovarian reserve . Her expertise includes , IUI , IVF , ICSI , TESA and PESA .
She has a great reputation for her professional ethics and her dedication towards her patients , She is part of many infertility related research projects. She believes that we should learn from the western scientific literature but at the same time we should do research to identify the problems which are unique to our own Indian population. Thus she believes that will help the infertility specialists to develop customized treatments for patients with Indian ethnicity .She was part of the study to find the reasons behind increased prevalence of diminished ovarian reserve in South Indian population.
Currently she is conducting a study on the role of Myoinositol in PCOS patients and also a study on genetic etiology in unexplained poor ovarian reserve patients. She believes in constantly up dating academic knowledge and she regularly participates in national and international conferences and regularly presents her research.
