About Dr. Preethi V.C
Dr. Preethi VC completed her bachelor of dental surgery-BDS from Manipal College of Dental Sciences, Mangalore in the year 2010. She is a very passionate Pediatric dentist and has completed her MDS (Pediatric Dentistry) from AB Shetty Memorial Institute of Dental Sciences, Mangalore in the year 2014.
She was awarded prestigious AK Munshi Gold medal by the NITTE University for the year of 2014 for being a topper in the university. She was also awarded best paper for Research in oral sedation in the ISPPD National Conference 2017 Chennai and many best paper awards in the national ISPpD conferences and TSDC conference. She has many publications to her credit and have also published a book on “Naso-alveolar Molding in Cleft Lip and palate children”.
She can make an easy connection with children of all ages, with proficiency in English, Malayalam, Tamil, Kannada, Hindi and Telugu languages, which is an asset in managing children.
She has keen interest in treating special children and medically compromised individuals. Her areas of interest are early orthodontic intervention in growing children and treating children under Sedation/General Anaesthesia. She has done special training on Nitrous Oxide inhalation sedation and Myofunctional Orthodontic Appliances. She has been invited as a guest speaker for various conferences and IDA shows. She is known to be the favorite dentist for all her little ones who received her treatment
