About Dr. Poshan Guddeti

With over two decades of vast experience, Dr. Poshan Guddeti is a leading Neonatologist and Pediatrician practicing at Ankura hospital, Hyderabad. He has worked both in India and UK in this duration and has multiple degrees and professional accolades to his credit.

He completed his MBBS from the Osmania Medical College, Hyderabad following which he attained his Diploma in Child Health from the same institute. After working in India for a brief duration, he then moved to the United Kingdom where he gained further work experience and professional degrees. He has obtained his DCH and CCT from the Royals College of Pediatrics and Child Health and is also a Member of the Royals College of Pediatrics and Child Health. With his specific interest in neonatology, he further obtained post CC fellowship in Neonatology from Hammersmith Hospital, London. Employing the vast working experience that he holds; he is an expert in diagnosing and treating various pediatric and neonatal conditions and is highly skilful in performing specific neonatal procedures. He is also adept at handling neonatal emergencies and unexpected clinical situations. Dr Poshan holds a special interest in targeted neonatal echocardiography, point of care ultrasound in neonates and family integrated care in neonatal medicine. His working experience has given him a vast exposure of working as a neonatologist in different positions, covering up to level III NICU, Neonatal surgery, Cardiology/Cardiac ICU AND Neonatal transport. Apart from his professional degrees, he has also obtained multiple life support and other certifications related to neonatal and pediatric care. He has worked as a registrar in pediatrics for a long time, which has made him an expert in the area of general pediatrics and allied super-specialities, including emergency medicine, neurology, nephrology, developmental pediatrics etc. By means of working closely with multi-disciplinary teams, his approach to care is holistic for obtaining positive clinical outcomes for his patients.

Dr. Poshan also holds a special interest in academics and research and has many of his scientific papers published in reputed pediatric and neonatology journals. He also holds an interest in medical education and simulation training. With the motto of ‘Learn while you teach’ he has been able to keep his knowledge and skills updated in his specialty. He has organised and coordinated many training programs for young medical graduates.
