About Dr. Nikhil Nag S Punneshetty

Dr. Nikhil practices as a Consultant Pediatrician at Ankura hospital. He obtained his MBBS from MR Medical College, Gulbarga following which he pursued his MD in Pediatrics from Raichur. After working for a brief period as a general pediatrician, he went on to pursue a fellowship in Pediatric Emergency from the Institute of Child Health and Hospital, Chennai. He also obtained a Fellowship in Pediatric Intensive Care from Aster CMI hospital Bangalore. Having worked in the tertiary care unit his exposure to patients requiring critical care is vast. He is an expert in handling medical and surgical pediatric emergencies including pediatric liver transplants, bone marrow transplants, pediatric neurocritical care and ICU care, etc. He is also highly skillful in performing various procedures in the Pediatric intensive care unit. He has also undergone other training programs including, pediatric echocardiography training and pediatric advanced life support training which adds to his overall clinical skills.

Dr. Nikhil is also an academic enthusiast and has various of his research publications in scientific pediatric journals to his credit. With his calm demeanor and approach, he puts his patients at ease even during the most stressful hour.
