About Dr. N S Krishna Prasad
Dr. Krishna Prasad Narayana is a consultant pediatrician and neonatologist practicing at the AS Rao Nagar centre of the hospital. After pursuing his graduation and then DCH to specialise as a pediatrician, he moved to the US to pursue his fellowship in neonatal and perinatal medicine. In the US he worked as a fellow in the Maria Fareri children’s hospital of the Westchester medical centre, New York medical college, Valhalla, NY, USA, where he was awarded FAAP. He also gained a wide exposure by working as a resident in the Brookdale university hospital and medical centre, Brooklyn, NY, USA. Dr. Krishna has a vast experience of over two decades working in his specialty.
By means of the experience and the broad exposure that he has of working in different places, he has a detailed understanding of patient needs and treatment aspects. He is highly skilled in performing all kinds of neonatal procedures and pediatric treatments. His areas of key interest include neonatal intensive care, preterm nutrition, and post-natal follow-up. Dr. Krishna also holds a special interest in research in his field and has multiple papers published under his name in various national and international reputed pediatric journals.
