About Dr. Jamir Arlikar

Dr. Arlikar completed his MBBS from Amravati University and pursued his MS in General Surgery from the Grant Medical College, Mumbai. With his passion lying in pediatric surgery, he super-specialized as a pediatric surgeon by pursuing his M.Ch. from Mumbai. His zeal to learn more in his specialty took him to the most prestigious John Hopkins, USA, where he obtained an additional fellowship in Pediatric Surgery. He is highly skilled and an expert in performing all pediatric surgical procedures. His interest lies in Pediatric and infant minimally invasive surgeries (Single-incision and advanced laparoscopic surgeries), as well as foetal surgeries, pediatric urological reconstructive, and minimally invasive pectus excavatum repair.

He is a keen academician and was awarded the Shanti Talwar Scholarship by the Indian Association of Pediatric Surgeons for the year 2012. He also received the Karl- Storz Travel Fellowship in 2010. He has multiple research papers published in various national and international pediatric journals. Dr. Arlikar keeps himself up to date about the latest procedures and treatments by being an active participant in various academic forums.
