About Dr. Geeta Devi G
Dr. Geeta Devi is an obstetrician and gynaecologist who practices as a fetal medicine expert at ankura hospital for women and children. She has done her MBBS, DNB in obstetrics and gynaecology from Hyderabad, following which she worked in a tertiary care training institute in Mumbai where she gained expertise in managing infertility, hysterolaparoscopic procedures, obstetric and gynaecological ultrasound. Out of interest in high risk obstetric care and fetal medicine,she went on to pursue FNB degree in high risk pregnancy and fetal medicine from national board in Kerala. She has extensive experience of performing Obstetric and gynaecological ultrasound including early pregnancy scans, NT scans, anomaly scans, growth and Doppler scans, detailed fetal echocardiography, fetal neurosonography, multifetal pregnancy scans, 3D/4D scans. She has special interest in diagnostic and therapeutic fetal interventions like amniocentesis, chorionic villus sampling, fetal blood sampling, intrauterine blood transfusions. She also is certified for level1 genetic counselling. This she is not only expert in diagnosing fetal abnormalities but also provides counselling on how to approach high risk pregnancies. She has published many research articles so far in indexed journals of national and international repute. She has won first prize at FETOCON for paper presentation of her research work during her fellowship programme in fetal medicine. Dr. Geeta never fails to update her knowledge and skills to deliver the latest and best care to her patients. With an empathetic approach towards her patients, she establishes a great rapport with them and puts them at ease even during difficult hours.
