About Dr. Anurupa Popuri
Dr. Anurupa Popuri is a skilled and compassionate Consultant Pediatric Intensivist with over 7 years of experience in pediatric critical care, emergency services, and outpatient management. She has completed her MD in Pediatrics from Dr. PSIMS & RF Medical College, affiliated with Dr. NTRUHS, and holds a fellowship in Pediatric Critical Care from the IAP College of Intensive Care. Her expertise lies in managing critically ill children in the PICU, with hands-on proficiency in advanced ventilation, hemodynamic monitoring, pediatric resuscitation, and shock management. Dr. Anurupa is trained in POCUS and diagnostic bronchoscopy and is certified in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Basic Life Support (BLS).
Currently leading the PICU, Dr. Anurupa has successfully managed many critical pediatric cases including sepsis, trauma, and respiratory failure. She actively contributes to clinical training, mentoring junior doctors and nurses, and organizing CMEs and public health education programs. Her commitment to patient-centered care, clinical excellence, and adherence to NABH standards reflects in her leadership and dedication to improving outcomes for young patients.
