About Dr. Amol Kumar Jadhav
Dr. Amol Jadhav specializes in Pediatric Neurology, a specialized medical branch in the field of Pediatrics.
With a background in Pediatrics and specialized training in Pediatric Neurology, Dr. Jadhav is committed to providing expert care to children with Neurological disorders. He completed his MBBS at B.J. Government Medical College, Pune, followed by an MD in Pediatrics at SRTR Government Medical College, Ambajogai, where he gained extensive experience managing pediatric and neonatal intensive care units, including neurocritical cases. Following this recognizing his specific interest and passion for pediatric neurology, he pursued a Fellowship in Pediatric Neurology from Amrita institute of medical sciences, Amrita advanced center for epilepsy, Kochi, Kerala. Dr. Jadhav has further honed his expertise by completing the Pediatric Epilepsy Training (PET) course from the British Pediatric Neurology Association (BPNA) and advanced EEG training organized by the International League Against Epilepsy (ILAE).
His has extensive clinical and academic experience. His research contributions are significant, with published work on topics such as pediatric dengue, growth patterns in very low birth weight babies, and a notable study titled “Double CMAP: Diagnostic Clue Towards a Treatable Neuromuscular Disorder” presented at Child Neurocon 2022. He is also exploring the effects of anti seizure medications on thyroid profiles in children and studying the phenotypic spectrum of ATP1A3 mutations in South Indian children. An active member of the Indian Epilepsy Society, Indian Epilepsy Association (Kochi), and ILAE – Young Epilepsy Section, Dr. Amol is deeply involved in the epilepsy community.
He has presented at various national conferences and has received multiple accolades, including top ranks in quizzes organized by UNESCO and the Indian Academy of Pediatrics.
