About Dr A Sukanya

Sukanya is a compassionate and detail-oriented Registered Dietitian with over 8 years of experience in nutritional assessment, counseling, and medical nutrition therapy. She holds dual master’s degrees in Dietetics & Food Service Management (DFSM) and Human Development & Child Welfare. Currently serving as a Clinical Dietitian at Ankura Hospital for Women & Children, Tirupati, she specializes in chronic disease management, weight management, pediatric and maternal nutrition, and individualized dietary interventions that promote long-term wellness.

Throughout her career, Sukanya has worked in both hospital and community settings, providing tailored nutrition care for patients in ICU, surgical, and outpatient units. She collaborates closely with multidisciplinary teams to improve outcomes and is skilled in educating patients and families on managing conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, renal disorders, and PCOS. A Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) and life member of IAPEN India, she is passionate about translating evidence-based nutrition into practical, sustainable solutions for healthier living.
